The diamond grinder runs vacuum-shrouded — no dust cloud. It's louder than a shop vac, quieter than a mower. Most of the work is contained inside the garage.

What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?

Epoxy is the base layer bonded to the slab. Polyaspartic is the UV-stable top coat that keeps it from yellowing or dulling. Our system uses both — they're not interchangeable.

Why diamond grinding instead of acid etching?

Acid etching only opens the surface pores. Diamond grinding removes contaminants and creates a mechanical bond profile (25-grit CSP) that coatings actually adhere to. This is the single biggest reason our floors don't peel.

Will it be slippery when wet?

No. The flake broadcast creates a natural non-skid texture — closer to a tennis court than a bathtub.

Every floor carries a real coating warranty: 15 years with our standard single polyaspartic top coat, or a lifetime warranty when you choose the two-coat premium system. Structural slab failure (heaving, new cracks from settlement), aggressive chemical spills left to sit, and DIY repairs. Normal wear is covered.

Why do DIY epoxy kits fail so often?

Three reasons: (1) acid etching doesn't create a real mechanical bond, (2) water-based epoxy is too thin to survive hot tires, and (3) there's no UV top coat, so it yellows and dulls fast. Skip any of those steps and the floor lifts.
